2. What data we collect
When you register online for the Grand Sapphire Poker Festival (19 to 28 February 2027), we process the details you provide in the sign-up form: first and last name, email address, telephone number, country, the tournament interests you select and an optional message. We also record the language in which the form was completed. When you visit the website, technically necessary server log data is processed.
3. Purpose and legal bases
We process your registration data to handle your sign-up, to contact you and to organise your festival visit, including tournament planning, seat allocation and the handling at the cash games and the cash desk (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, pre-contractual and contractual measures). Where you give consent, we process the data on the basis of that consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR); you may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future. Server log data is processed to ensure proper technical operation on the basis of our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
4. Recipients and processors
The website runs on Google Cloud Platform (Firebase) infrastructure; Google is involved as a processor. Registration data is also transmitted by email to the festival editorial team at info@grandsapphirepoker.com. No disclosure is made to other third parties, in particular not for advertising purposes.
5. Storage period
Registration data is stored for as long as required to run the festival, at most until the festival has concluded (28 February 2027), unless statutory retention obligations (e.g. tax law) require longer storage. Server log data is deleted as soon as it is no longer needed for operation.
6. Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21). 7. Age verification and gaming
Entry to the casino is restricted to guests aged 25 and above. For age verification at the venue, sight of a valid ID may be requested; this takes place on site and does not result in any permanent storage of data by the festival editorial team.
