1. Scope

These Terms & Conditions govern participation in the Grand Sapphire Poker Festival 2027 (19 to 28 February 2027) at the Casino Grand Sapphire in the Grand Sapphire Resort, İskele, Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC). The organiser is Grand Sapphire Resort Ltd., Cevizli Mahallesi, Makenzi Caddesi, Güven Sokak No:1, İskele, TRNC. By registering, the participant accepts these terms.

2. Registration and seats

Registration takes place online via the sign-up form on the festival website. The number of available seats is limited (150 seats); the website shows the current registration count. A registration only becomes effective once confirmed by the organiser. The organiser reserves the right to reject registrations without giving reasons, particularly in the case of a house ban or a previous exclusion.

3. Tournaments, buy-ins and payments

Tournament formats, buy-ins, blind structures and the schedule are as published on the festival website's tournament plan; changes remain possible up to the tournament start. Deposits are to be transferred to the accounts of Grand Sapphire Resort Ltd. published on the deposits page (Garanti BBVA, Halkbank, İş Bankası, Ziraat Bankası; currencies TL/USD/EUR/GBP). Buy-ins are not refunded after a tournament has started unless otherwise agreed in an individual case.

4. Cash games

The cash games run around the clock throughout the festival. The stakes offered are 5/5, 10/10 and 10/25 in No Limit, Pot Limit and Split Limit variants, as well as the games Hold'em, Omaha, Seven Card Stud and Bomb Pots. The house rules posted at the venue and the instructions of the floor staff apply.

5. Rake race

All cash-game players automatically take part in the rake race. Played hours recorded during the festival are scored; the evaluation takes place at the end of the festival. There are five winning places; the prizes are published on the rake-race page.

6. Conditions of participation and house rules

Entry to the casino is restricted to guests aged 25 and above. For age verification, the venue may request sight of a valid ID. The casino exercises its house rights; participants who breach house rules, game rules or staff instructions may be excluded from play and from the festival.

7. Cancellation, postponement and force majeure

The organiser may postpone or cancel the festival or individual tournaments for good cause, particularly in the event of force majeure, official orders or technical failures. In such a case, deposits already made will be refunded or credited towards a replacement date; further claims are excluded.

8. Liability

The organiser is liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence as well as for injury to life, body or health. Otherwise, the organiser is only liable for the breach of essential contractual obligations, limited to the foreseeable damage typical for the contract. No safekeeping is provided for items and valuables brought along.

9. Responsible gaming

Gambling can be addictive. The organiser points out that responsible gaming lies in the hands of each guest and refers to support options available at the venue. Gambling is not permitted under the age of 25.

10. Final provisions

Amendments and supplements to these terms require written form. Should individual provisions be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected. The law of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) applies; the Central Courts of the TRNC have jurisdiction over any disputes.
